The Commission of the African Union presents its compliments to the Ministries of Foreign Affairs/External Relations of all AU Member States and has the honour to request the latter to transmit the following information to their respective Ministers responsible for Education.

The Commission wishes to inform the Member States that the Government of South Africa has offered to host the third ordinary session of the Conference of Ministers of Education of the African Union (COMEDAF-III) in Johannesburg, from 6 th to 10 th August 2007.

The meeting shall be held as follows:

6 th to 7 th August : Meeting of Senior Experts
9 th to 10 th August: Meeting of Ministers of Education

The Commission requests the Ministries of Education to send the names and contacts of the honourable Ministers and Senior Experts who will attend the meeting to :
