AFRICA-INDIA FORUM SUMMIT ADOPTS DELHI DECLARATION AND THE FRAMEWORK FOR COOPERATION (Fr)

New Delhi, 9th April 2008 –
African Heads of State and Government and Heads of Delegation, representing the continent, African Union and its institutions, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, who were gathered in New Delhi from 8-9 April in the context of the Africa-India Forum, adopted the Delhi Declaration and the Framework for cooperation, in order to strengthen their partnership in the fields of politics, security, economics, science and technology, human resource capacity building, social and cultural cooperation and other mutual fields of interest for mutual benefit.
