Over the past ten years, the OAU/AU has been involved in a number of conflict situations, most of them being full- blown conflicts. Nonetheless, this involvement has generated relevant experiences and lessons that help to shape a better vision of confronting conflicts in future. Following is a brief overview of those interventions.
