INTERNSHIP POLICY IN THE
AFRICAN UNION COMMISSION

The Commission takes a limited number of interns, usually for 3 months. The Commission  maintains  no financial obligations towards accepted interns.

Applicants must have, at least, a graduate degree from a recognized university. When sending an application, a copy of degree and transcript must be attached. It is important that all applicants express areas in which they want to be considered for internship.

Applications should be addressed to:

Director,
Administration and Human Resources Development
P. O. Box 3243
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
E-mail: au-recruits@africa-union.org

Fax number 251-11-5525840/5510430

If applying by E-mail, the subject line must clearly stipulate that the application is for an internship position.

Processing applications for internship usually takes time. This is due to the number of applications we receive and internal processes that must be observed. Applicants are advised to send applications at least three (3) months before the time planned to start internship.

We apologize that we cannot respond to acknowledge receipt of all applications.

Only successful applicants will be contacted.
