Saturday, 8th December

8h30 – Arrival of delegations (location: FIL, Parque das Nações)

9h30 – Opening Session (includes speech by the EU and AU Presidencies, Commissions and the UN Secretary General)

10h30 –Family Photo

11h00 – First Plenary session : Introductory speeches on the main themes of the agenda: 1) Governance and human rights ; 2) Peace and security; 3) Migration ; 4) Energy and climate change; 5) Trade, infrastructures and development.

13h00 – Lunch

15h00 – 18h00 – Second Plenary session : open to interventions from Heads of Delegations

20h00 – Banquet offered by H.E the President of the Republic (location: Ajuda Palace)
