"Parliament" means the Pan-African Parliament of the
Union.
1. In order to ensure the full participation
of African peoples in the development and economic integration
of the continent, a Pan-African Parliament shall be established.
2. The composition, powers, functions and organization
of the Pan-African Parliament shall be defined in a protocol
relating thereto.
