7. Exhibition Space Rental charges
Note: Ready built stand will include:
Two or three side walls, Fascia name, One table, Two Chairs, Two spotlights,
on 5Amps power point (Socket). No carpet will be supplied.
Terms of Payment :
A deposit of 50% of the contract value is payable on acceptance of the
offer. The balance of 50% to be paid before the commencement of the
Fair. Payment to be made in favor of the Board of External Trade
A/C No. 012105014907 – National Bank of Commerce Ltd, Samora Branch,
Dar es Salaam.
8. Hotel rates : Host
Country will negotiate with hotel companies for a preferential rate.
List of hotels and rates will be forwarded soon.
9. Transportation: Negotiations
for tariff reduction are underway with Airlines companies connecting
Dar es Salaam.
10. Sponsorship: The Arab
Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) will provide grants
to twenty or more Least
Developed Countries (LDCs) to facilitate
their participation in the Fair. The grant, which will be administered
centrally by BADEA will include the following:
a) Rental charges for the ready-built
display area (maximum 25sqm for each benefiting LDC) which will be
paid by BADEA directly to the Board of External Trade of Tanzania.
b) Refund for the value of economy class
air tickets for two representatives from each benefiting LDC (shortest
and most direct routes), and
c) refund for airfreight for exhibit
materials up to a maximum of US$1,000 (one thousand dollars) for each
benefiting LDC.
